Dirthael - concept art

ENG: So, I had a day off and decided to finally draw something that was on my mind since quite a while ago - Dirthael, the sword of my book's main protagonist, Aidan, forged for him some time after his first sword broke when he destroyed a wraith. During the creation, Aidan uses his own blood to soulbind it, thus giving it some unique... properties, as his soul is quite, well, special - he is a Mistborn and as such belongs to both worlds; not only to the world of living, but to the Mists - world of the dead - aswell.

'Amongst the Mists I dwell. Forget me not' says the inscription on its blade.

"Dirthael" means "Unity", as it's a link between the worlds - same as Aidan.

I'm rather happy with how it turned out c: and oh, please, I'd love to know what do you think about it. 

PL: A wiec miałem dzień wolny na uniwerku i postanowiłem, że w końcu narysuję coś, co mi chodziło po głowie od dłuższego czasu - Dirthael, miecz głównego protagonisty mojej książki, Aidana, wykutego dlań jakiś czas po tym jak jego pierwszy miecz pęka w wyniku zniszczenia upiora. W trakcie procesu tworzenia Aidan użył swojej własnej krwi, by połączyć miecz ze swoją duszą, tym samym nadając mu pewne unikatowe... właściwości, gdyż jego dusza jest dość specyficzna - Aidan jest Dzieckiem Mgieł i należy do obu światów; nie tylko świata żywych, lecz do Mgieł - świata zmarłych - również.

Inskrypcja na klindze mówi "Pośród Mgieł ja trwam. Nie zapomnij mnie"

"Dirthael" znaczy mniej-więcej tyle, co "Jedność", jako że - tak samo jak Aidan - stanowi ogniwo łączące w sobie aspekty obu światów.
